Outpatient Program Therapist

The Outpatient Program Therapist facilitates initial and ongoing clinical assessments; provides group, individual and family psychotherapy; Functions as a Case Manager with assigned patients; Completes treatment planning with interdisciplinary team. Other duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities/Duties

  • Responsible for mental health services to assigned children and their families which includes assessment and evaluation, documentation, tracking outcomes, and reports.
  • Ability to perform clear, concise and timely documentation and correspondence using database system.
  • Assess clients on intake as needed.
  • Complete clinical documentation within established time frames.
  • Attend weekly Treatment Team meetings and making presentations on each assigned client.
  • Work with the team to create, personalize, and update all Treatment Plans and other necessary documentation, and assuring that plans are consistent with Camelot policy, state licensing regulations, and COA accreditation requirements.
  • Serve as a liaison with other professionals and agencies involved in the client’s care.


Minimum Education: Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, Social work or Marriage Family Therapy required.

Minimum Experience: One (1) year of post Master's clinical experience in mental health setting.

Req. Certification/Licensure: Current California LMFT, LCSW, or PhD. License preferred. Current American Heart Association (CPR), CPI required.
