Universal Reporting Data Analyst

The Universal Reporting Data Analyst will be responsible to ensure that daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly Universal Reports to the Health Plans are submitted accurately and timely. The Claims Universal Reporting Data Analyst will also be responsible for analyzing reports and identifying process improvements for holding Medical Management staff accountable for completing their portion of the reports and identifying process improvements for holding Medical management staff accountable for completing their portion of the reports. Universal Reporting Data Analyst will be responsible for creating DBMS and Access queries and working with IT to find ways to refine reporting to ensure accurate data is being sent to Health Plans. 



Job Responsibilities/Duties

  • The timely creation and submission of the Universal reports. Analyze reports to help identify deficiencies. Ensure daily, weekly and monthly reports are generated timely from IDX and distributed to Health Plans. Must ensure database is refreshed daily to ensure accuracy of reports being distributed. Work with IT to resolve system issues and find workarounds. 
  • ​Provide analytical support to the Medical Management and the Claims Department by creating, updating DBMS queries and analyzing ad hoc reports as needed. Work closely with the Medical Management Staff to hold them accountable for completing review timely and inform them of any discrepancies in the data that is being generated. 
  • ​Provide training to Medical Management and Claim staff on how to pull specific reports for back-up. 


Qualifications

Minimum Education: A High School Diploma required, BS/BA or equivalent education and experience preferred. 

Minimum Experience: At least three (3) years relevant experience within the healthcare industry in an IPA/MSO. Minimum of five (5) years experience working with Excel and Access in creating and generating reports. Claim system experience with GE's IDX system.
