The Senior Staff Accountant will be responsible for creating month end financial statements and associated reporting and formatting them for Corporate submission. This position is responsible for running reports, compiling data, and performing analysis for quarterly and annual audits, both internal and external. This position will assist with external regulatory filings, including DMHC and Health Plans and monthly reporting for JOC meetings with various hospital partners. Responsible for other general accounting duties as assigned.
Minimum Education: BS degree or equivalent work experience in accounting or finance preferably in a healthcare or IPA/MSO environment.
Minimum Experience: Two to four (2-4) years accounting experience of staff accountant or equivalent that includes the duties listed above. Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Excel required; Renovo or BizNet report writing software, MAS-200 and FAS! Best software preferred. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Experience with IDX and Microsoft Access preferred.
