RN - Critical Care Education Specialist

The Critical Care Education Specialist Coordinates house-wide educational programs presented through the Education department. Functions as a resource regarding educational issues throughout the Medical Center.

Job Responsibilities/Duties

  • Oversees and directs the planning, organizing, and implementation of education services for hospital staff.
  • Coordinates hospital-wide educational programs presented through the Education department and other resources.
  • Functions as a resource regarding educational issues throughout the Medical Center. Prepares and maintain documents for all education plans and implement and maintain all administrative processes.


Minimum Education: BSN from a Registered Nursing program or B.A. in a healthcare related field, with an A.A. in Nursing or diploma from a Registered Nursing program.

Minimum Experience: Three to five (3-5) years of clinical experience; Adult education or education specialty training.

Req. Certification/Licensure: Current California RN license; ACLS / BLS.
