Provider Information Management (PIM) Supervisor

The Supervisor of Provider Information Management (PIM) supervises the PIM team and acts as a liaison between our IPAs, contracted health plans, internal departments and manages provider data.

Job Responsibilities/Duties

  • Supervises production of each member of the unit and ensuring each member is meeting their performance objectives.
  • Review quality from each employee to ensure timely and accurate processing of provider change forms.
  • Ensuring accuracy of provider information stored in database,
  • Thorough investigation and seeking the assistance of Contracting and Network Management departments when necessary.
  • Data projects as assigned.
  • Provider outreach; reaching out to provider/provider offices to acquire necessary documentation to ensure update information in all systems, and necessary for submission to health plans.
  • Management of requests/inquiries that come in from the health plans as well as from other Prospect Medical departments.
  • Responsible for the managing the data/rosters that is sent/received from Senator.
  • Responsible for validation of provider rosters; verifying the accuracy and ensuring roster is completed within the format requested by the specific health plan, and meeting health plans deadline.
  • Provider roster Production; assist with constructing provider rosters to specifications ensure completion with then health plan deadline


Minimum Education: Bachelors in Business Administration or equivalent from a four year college or technical school.

Minimum Experience: Five (5) years' experience and/or training in credentialing and/or contracting in a hospital or IPA setting; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
