The Manager Cardiac Cath Lab / Cardiac Services is responsible for human resource management, quality management, budget management, core workflow initiatives, facilitation of inter/intra-departmental communication, patient, staff and physician relations and the maintenance and monitoring of regulatory standards of care. Additionally is required to assist with technical and patient care duties related to the procedures performed in Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. 

• Responsible for the day to day management of the aforementioned department including supervision of inventory, cost containment, patient charges. 
• Assists in procedures performed in cardiac cath lab as necessary. 
• Provides and supports the provision of professional care within the Cardiac Cath Lab, vascular access, and interventional radiology. 
• Oversees maintenance of mandated local, state and federal standards. 
• The person must be able to work closely with physicians and Cath Lab staff, vascular access staff. 
• Must have good interpersonal skills with an aptitude to learning. The person will need to be able to lead a strong, committed and passionate team. 

Minimum Education: Graduate of an Accredited School of ultrasonography procedures or equivalent or Graduate of an Acredited school of Nursing. Experience with the following vascular studies: Venous, Arterial, Carotid Doppler exams, Stress/Echo, TEE, Bubble Study; at least one (1) year of exepreince with ultrasonography procedures in an acute care setting. Bachelor's Degree in Business, Nursing or healthcare related field preferred. Current RN License preferred.

Minimum Experience: Three (3) years recent Cardiac Cath Lab experience as a Clinical RN or Cath Lab/Cardiovascular Technician. At least one (1) year experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab or Cardiovascular Supervisor or Manager. Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English. Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload. Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job. 

Req. Certification/Licensure: Current California RN license preferred; A.R.D.M.S or R.D.C.S certification preferred. American Heart Association (BLS), (ACLS) Certfications preferred. Hospital Fire and Life Safety Card (Los Angeles City employees only).
