HR/HRIS Manager of Oracle Human Capital Management (CA or PA)

The Manager of Oracle HCM assists with the successful delivery of a portfolio of Human Capital Management programs & projects.  Oversees and supports the on-going maintenance and day to day use of the HCM cloud enabled business solution through close alignment with business stakeholders and delivery teams.  Responsible for supporting the implementation of a National Common Model for all HCM related end-to-end business processes.  Ensures industry standard Human Resources business process best practices and principles are appropriately applied throughout the organization.  Serves as a key business resource and support function for HR/HRIS end users. Researches and provides recommendations to leadership on new technologies that could be utilized to improve service center effectiveness and the overall customer experience.

Job Responsibilities/Duties

  • Leads activities to leverage the use of HR information systems to continuously improve analytics, forecasting, and reporting for the HRIS function and for the business. Serves as a key business resource and support function for HR/HRIS end users.
  • Oversees the implementation and ongoing maintenance of HCM service enabling technologies. Ensures a timely response to inquiries and designs solutions for a better customer experience.
  • Manages day to day HCM Workforce Hierarchy and Position Control structure. Is responsible for the processing of mass data imports and analysis using advanced excel formulae. Maintains a close relationship with local business unit leaders delivering superior customer support and business process guidance. Builds ad hoc reports and analysis as needed.
  • Ensures system maintenance, continuity and linkage with other company systems and technology. Develops and maintains awareness of HR data security and complies with policies and procedures set by the organization.
  • Creates a work environment that fosters respect, positive morale, and high employee engagement.  Consistently maintains a level of communication and execution aligned with the core values of the organization.
  • Ability to anticipate and prioritize multiple priorities from multiple sources and to switch direction quickly in a fast-paced environment required.
  • Detail-oriented and advanced skills in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint required) required. 
  • Must work with a sense of urgency and have the ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner. 
  • Travel, up to 25%


Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree required. Master’s Degree in Business Administration or HRIS Preferred. 

Minimum Experience: A minimum of Eight (8) + years of HR / HRIS experience required (Oracle HCM preferred). Extensive knowledge of and experience with HR Information Systems, including security and reporting tools required. Strong quantitative, statistical, and analytical skills and ability to generate, analyze and synthesize data and reports required. Strong communication and presentation skills required.

Req. Certification/Licensure: Oracle HCM or other Enterprise Systems Certifications
