Corporate Litigation Paralegal

Prospect Medical Holdings, Inc., a fast-growing healthcare company, located in West Los Angeles, is seeking a Corporate Litigation Paralegal to join their legal team. 



Job Responsibilities/Duties

  • Perform legal and factual research
  • Assist in the preparation of legal documents including pleadings, motions, etc.
  • File all court documents
  • Organize and track case files
  • Build and maintain case filings electronically
  • Prepare and produce discovery documents, including e-discovery
  • Coordinate and prepare responses and/or records to subpoena requests
  • Reports directly to the Company’s Director of Legal Administration


Qualifications

Minimum Education: High School Diploma. College Degree preferred but not required. 

Minimum Experience: Three or more (3+) years of paralegal and/or legal support. Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and e-discovery platforms, with the ability to learn new programs as necessary. Excellent attention to detail and strong ability to prioritize. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Very strong organizational skills; able to multi-task with ease, and work well under pressure. Ability to work at all levels of an organization and independently. Highly motivated, positive, professional, friendly, and team-oriented attitude.
